As more and more people around the world turn their backs on religion, the clear explanation of the Bible has drawn more than 140,000 believers to church and caught the attention of millions.

The online seminar "Shincheonji: Testimony on the Parables and Reality of the Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven" is hosted by the Shincheonji Congregation of Jesus, the Temple of the Tent of Testimony. This seminar series on understanding the parables of the New Testament will be live streamed on YouTube every Monday and Thursday at 10am (GMT+9) from January 3rd to March 28th.

"The parables are the key element in understanding the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Old Testament prophecy was fulfilled at the time of Jesus at his first coming. In doing so, Jesus left his New Testament prophecy to be fulfilled "when the time comes" ( John 16:25). We are approaching the true meaning as soon as the prophecy is revealed," explained a representative of the church.

Previous seminars on the Book of Revelation have been published on YouTube in 24 languages over the past three months and have received 7 million views in 136 countries, including 16,000 pastors as participants. The Shincheonji Church of Jesus announced that 1,200 church leaders from 57 countries have signed a memorandum of understanding with the church to strengthen international cooperation and exchanges to promote education. During the signing, Pastor Jerry Hagerman of Wayside Mission Church in Virginia, USA, emphasized: "I want to grow in the word and teach our church [...] and help it come from death to life. I want to be one with God's kingdom and communicate openly."

According to a Pew Research Center survey, 3 in 10 adults in the United States today are nonaffiliated. Hardest hit by the decline in religious affiliation is the Protestant Church, which has seen a steady decline: 52% in 2007 and 40% in 2021. This trend is also reflected in another study by Lifeway Research in Nashville, which states that most Americans regard Jesus as a historical person, but have no biblical knowledge of what Jesus' ultimate goal was from a religious perspective. According to the report, only 9% of the 1,005 respondents knew that His mission was to fulfill the Old Testament.

On the other side of the globe there are more and more people joining a religion. Contrary to the decline in traditional denominations, over 140,000 people have joined the Shincheonji Congregation of Jesus since 2019 after completing the congregation's Bible course. A representative from the Shincheonji Congregation of Jesus explained: "Across the world, more and more people are suffering from illnesses, disasters and hardships caused by COVID-19, and they are very concerned about the meaning of life and suffering. Religion must be in be able to provide answers for these people. In the religious world where face-to-face encounters are few, education should be provided for every individual in the local communities. What excites people about Shincheonji community is the clear Explanation of the mission of Jesus in the New Testament".
